Providing Nutritious VitaMeal for Indonesia Earthquake Victims

The region of Java, Indonesia was hit by a devastating 6.2 earthquake Saturday, May 27th. Thousands of people were displaced from their homes, and more than 5,000 people lost their lives.

To provide relief to those affected by the earthquake, the Nourish the Children initiative is providing hundreds of thousands of meals. A shipment of 180,000 meals of VitaMeal will be shipped to Indonesia on June 5th from the United States. Shortly thereafter, another shipment of at least 180,000 meals will be sent from the VitaMeal plant in Jixi, China. Thank you for your participation in the NTC initiative and your generous VitaMeal donations.

Reports from the Field

In an effort to keep donors informed concerning the benefits received by recipients of VitaMeal donations, a quarterly video is produced with footage from the projects receiving food. Each video highlights different countries, efforts and children. Also, each month a written report is created with photographs for a more timely report on your donations.
