Seeking Software Engineer for private company in the South bay area. The company
is well funded and has recently signed multiple contracts for production worldwide.
The position is for Server Development with a focus on multi-threaded applications
and can pay up to $135K plus private stock. This software development position
will be responsible for design, implementation and unit testing of content delivery
and server architecture. This position will be primarily responsible for the
company’s core server
applications.
General Requirements:
BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent.
4+ years of application development experience preferred.
Self-motivated hands on generalist in server software development.
Experience in developing reliable and scalable network server architectures.
Start-up work experiences a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in C, C++, Java and scripted languages (e.g. Perl, Python).
Experience with implementing application layer communication protocols.
Experience in multi-threaded server application development is essential.
Experience with web services, application servers and database servers.
Experience in IP networking and Security.
Proficient in performance tuning and monitoring services.
Proficient with Linux and MySQL required.
Data center experience is highly desirable.
CDN knowledge is highly desirable.
